Viva, waves and cheering outside court
April 06 2010 at 02:22PM
Screams of ‘viva’, waves and whistling were heard outside the Ventersdorp Magistrate’s Court as one of the suspects in the Eugene Terre’Blanche murder trial was taken away by the police.
The suspect came out of the building bare footed with his head covered with a jacket.
He was quickly bundled into a police inyala while men whistled and women ululated, clapped and cheered behind the police car as it drove off. NPA head Menzi Simelane was expected to address the media afterwards.
